Can you add Ambient Lighting to your Ford?
If you’re looking at a preowned Ford, or you want to add ambient lighting to your existing vehicle, is this possible? The answer is yes and no, depending on the route. Ford doesn’t offer the option to add ambient lighting to your car, but there are plenty of aftermarket options.
If you want to investigate adding ambient lighting to your Ford as an aftermarket modification, it’s best to search for your model directly online. For most vehicles, there are guides and examples of fitting ambient lighting, so you can find a specific guide for your exact car/SUV.
Is Ambient lighting worth adding to your Ford?
Overall, we don’t think the ambient lighting setup is impressive across the current Ford range. Comparing the Ford technology to rivals like Hyundai and Toyota, the Ford system is underwhelming. If you’re getting ambient lighting as standard on your Ford, then it’s no issue, but I wouldn’t pay for an options package to get this feature.
