How to use the heated steering wheel on your Lexus

To turn on your heated steering wheel, the button is located on the side of your dashboard, just behind the steering wheel. There is one intensity level, so unlike your heated seats, you have one set ‘temperature’.

For most Lexus steering wheels you’ll have either a full leather trim or leather and wood. The heating function is only applied to the sides of the wheel, where you’re most likely to hold, and the center of the wheel isn’t heated.

Is a Heated Steering Wheel worth adding to your Lexus?

Overall, a heated steering wheel is an option most of us can live without, but it’s still a helpful addition to your Lexus. If you’re in a colder climate, then you will definitely appreciate a heated steering wheel on those colder days, so it’s worth considering.

For everyone in warmer climates, you’re unlikely to need a heated steering wheel. If your Lexus already comes with this feature as standard, then it’s a bonus, but I wouldn’t add it as an optional extra.
